UNH vs. St. Cloud State 10/13/12

Would it be asking too much for someone other than the student section to make some noise at the Whit? It's not a library people.

The student section comprised about 60% of the total attendance Friday night, or so it seemed. Lots of blue and red seats showing. Reminded me of a Redskins game, with all the empty seats.

Just for fun, went to Google Earth to find that "border" crossing. One and a half miles northwest of Canaan Vt. Nothing at all on the U.S. side (one farm about a quarter mile south). On the Quebec side, a hamlet with four houses.

3-2 after two.

Ya, I'm noticing a lot of empty seats tonight too. My take on this is if the non-students are gonna sit on their hands then put them in the end of the rink. At least then the students would be around the radio/tv mics and it would sound like someone is actually in the building.

One of my favourite political commentators, a Canadian and now a New Hampshire resident named Mark Steyn, wrote about a border crossing along the Quebec-Vermont line. Apparently it got millions in federal funding from Owebama's $5 trillion flush down the toilet. There's now a beautiful border office on the US side, that looks like a space ship landed, that could handle the traffic at the Windsor-Detroit crossing. Keep in mind this crossing sees an average of about 4 cars an hour. Her Majesty manages to get by with a one lane crossing, but hey us Canadians are pretty frugal. :D

Four? Must have been rush hour.

Either that, or everone in those four houses decided to head to West Stewartstown NH for a big night out.
