Not closely related. I vaguely remember that his father is a cousin of Andy Brickley (or something like that).

Chad: fun with you as always. I just hope the Red Sox owners put a little effort into the Fenway franchise, and don't focus all their thoughts and $ on resuscitating Liverpool FC...

I think they never would have purchased Liverpool FC if they could not afford to run both teams and have the money to run them in the manner teams of that ilk should be run.
