UNH: Taking on One UMass at a Time

Re: UNH: Taking on One UMass at a Time

Incredible individual effort by Henrion - GOAL! 4-0 UNH.

Re: UNH: Taking on One UMass at a Time

Actually the third line of Goumas-Silengo-Henrion got the power play time and they moved the puck nicely.

Re: UNH: Taking on One UMass at a Time

In the championship football game, Delaware has added two field goals o go up 12-0 with 6:46 left in the first half. FWIW, Blue Hen alum Joe Biden at the game...

Re: UNH: Taking on One UMass at a Time

Greg Burke with a crosscheck well behind the play. PP UML.

Re: UNH: Taking on One UMass at a Time

Kessel looked very sloppy around the net. UML goal. 4-2 UNH.

Re: UNH: Taking on One UMass at a Time

Refs review - decide the stick wasn't too high. goal stands.

Re: UNH: Taking on One UMass at a Time

I am just getting here, too.... I see that we are up, but gave up two goals to UML??? Come on, boys... finish this well.

Re: UNH: Taking on One UMass at a Time

Hey, Dean, CHC, and Richard! Happy New Year's, all!! 4 weeks to the day until we will be out in NH for the Maine series! Yeah, boy!!!

Re: UNH: Taking on One UMass at a Time

There's been some discussion on the UNH thread about whether Kessel will turn pro next season. Some are convinced it will happen. IMO he sometimes looks awfully lackadaisical in the defensive end. He has the strength to play the body and control the puck but doesn't consistently do it. He also continues to make slow motion passes behind the net which gives the forechecker an opportunity to catch up to the puck. If this is his last season at UNH, I'd like to see him improve in these areas.

Re: UNH: Taking on One UMass at a Time

Phew. Welcome aboard Malts and Dean. You can take over the play-by-post from here on in.:)

Re: UNH: Taking on One UMass at a Time

UMass had a 3-1 lead vs. NU at home and NU scored 3 goals in 38 seconds to take a 4-3 lead mid 2nd period... good defensive struggle

Hey, Chad and Dean! Sorry I missed Sunday's debacle (had the flu) -- will be in and out of this one as well, as I'm watching Delaware try to grab the national football title (ESPN2).

Belated congratulations to Clark-Hislop-Cox on his 1000th post!
