Re: Unh @ scsu

Can you guys provide a link where you are seeing these prices to watch the game(s) online?

I could be wrong but I think if you wait until tomorrow you can click on the game and just pay a smaller fee to watch that one game. I have season tickets so I only watch them online when they are on the road and certain teams us certain sites. last year when I saw games on B2 you could buy one game unless they changed it this year.

Re: Unh @ scsu

Did I seriously just get banned from our own message board?

Oh...and I did get banned. Supposedly I got a warning on Tuesday (that I never saw). Then I made a smart remark that was construed as trolling on Wednesday and got banned 10 minutes later. Good luck, because the other 10 people who post there will be banned by the end of the month. :)

Since the whole "PC" police thing started this week, in my un-sophiscated estimate, I would say that posts are down 50%? But, according to the mods...."participation is at an all time high". And I see the absence of about 3 or 4 other regular posters and I don't know if they are bored, banned, or boycotting....

Was it for the d-bag a-hole quip? Christ? Really?? I'm reasonably sarcasm challenged, and I could see you were kidding around.

Re: Unh @ scsu

I would like to add my generic and vanilla take on things. But only if it's o.k. with everyone. All right, here I go. I think all players, teams, posters, non-posters, mascots, facilities and David Hasselhoff are ... um, errr, ahhh, well....... nice. Everything is nice. And exactly the same nice, not different nice. And I think for the future that the other 25 letters of the alphabet should equally and without favortism be used in front of "-bag". It is only right and fair. And in a new politically correct move for the future, there will no longer be any losers. Only the last winners. So it is written, so let it be done. Good bye to all.

No...I asked if we were expecting a bunch of 12-year-olds to show up and start posting (in reference to the no profanity rule). Hey, motox...overreact much? :)

Re: Unh @ scsu

Anyone else surprised the WCHA columnists for USCHO picked a Husky sweep this weekend?

Not really for various reasons. WCHA columnists may likely be somewhat biased in favor of a conference team. As well as SCSU's recent performance can partly be a result of having no typical exhibition game(s) from which to prepare before starting the non-conference games due to the anticipated NHC renovation schedule, little to no puck luck so far for St. Cloud, and SCSU's first four games were on the road which required long travel. Still St. Cloud won a game and lost two others by just one goal. Contrary to some posters who are already in panic mode on another message board, a 1-3 record under these circumstances is not a surprise.

From what I have read this season it appears that UNH may have more unresolved issues it is dealing with early on than SCSU. It it probably a good time to play this team as the UNH program will have them playing much better by 2012 if not earlier.

I suspect that is why this thread contains a handful of UNH posters primarily worried about getting a video feed this weekend and the remaining posts from St. Cloud posters who are primarily bickering at each other along with some fallout because certain board administrators actually have the backbone to enforce rules against posters who violate them. I'm sorry but that is not PC run amuck. That is simply doing one's job as a board administrator / moderator.

It is time for Motzko to be the answer to "Who let the dogs out?" and unleash the Dog Pound this weekend to pick up four points.

Well I actually think we'll get a split at least, and that a sweep is very possible, but I'm surprised that they'd be picking it. And while they may favor WCHA teams a bit, I wasn't gonna be shocked if one or both picked a UNH sweep and blamed our young blueline.

As for the board administrator thing, I don't know what was said, I don't care, if they feel it warrants a suspension fine, I just hope its consistent. There have been way worse things in the past, but that's the past, and if now is when the whip is cracked, awesome, as long as its done consistently regardless of who the "offender" is

People are in a panic because last year the first half went bad and it feels like it is happening again. They need a sweep this weekend in a bad way. Falling to 2-4 or 1-5 would very bad for our pairwise ranking at the end of the year. I don't doubt the slow start has to do with the things you list above, but at the same time the team has to get going or the season will be over at christmas like it was last year.......

I agree it feels a lot like last year's bad start, but it is still too early to get too worked up over being 1 - 3. I've seen too many teams over the years crawl out of Pairwise oblivion in February and back into the top 12 or 13 teams (or even higher) and make the NCAA tournament.

I don't think St. Cloud needs a sweep this weekend; I just expect that they will.
