Warren Foegele was selected by the Carolina Hurricanes in the 3rd Round of the 2014 NHL Draft. Foegele was the 67th overall pick in the draft. Last June, Brett Pesce was drafted by Carolina as the 66th overall pick.

Shane Eiserman was drafted by the Ottawa Senators in the 4th Round. He was the 100th player selected.

This has been an exciting day for these two and even more exciting for our Wildcats! I think they will make an immediate impact to our offense which is really going to miss the scoring power from the graduating Seniors. Looking forward to seeing their game on our big sheet!

Looks like Casey Thrush will keep #19 this season while Eiserman gets #12 - In honor of Sid Abel? ;-):

Here's to hoping UNH #19 makes it to its *spiritual* owner by this time next year. :D

Vividly remember listening to Abel doing color on the WJR Red Wings radio network in the late '70's/early '80's though, while the inimitable Bruce Martyn did the play-by-play honors. :)

2015 or '16 Recruit Nick Nonis was invited to the Anaheim Ducks' Prospect Camp and scored a goal in the final scrimmage. The 6'3", 190 lbs. defenseman will play this season for the Powell River Kings in the BCHL.

One of my all-time favorites. Scoring the last ever goal at Snively in OT to knock BC out of the playoffs helps too. :D

Not just one of my all-time favorites, but probably my all-time favorite UNH player, and definitely my all-time favorite UNH goal. :):D:)

This thread is now my favorite UNH thread. :)

Both Mike Robinson and 2015 recruit Danny Tirone have trained with Mike Buckley at Goaltending Development Services (GDS). Buckley is the former UNH goalie coach who's now goaltending development coach for the Pittsburgh Penguins. Robinson is a March, 1997 birthdate goalie from Bedford, NH. In 25 games last season with the Boston Junior Rangers of the Metro Junior Hockey League, Robinson posted 1.99 GAA and a save percentage of .934.
