Friars have the edge in SOG / possession so far, but another scoreless 1st with 8 minutes remaining.

BC / Vermont scoreless too heading into the 3rd (although the Catamount "no-goal" looked pretty good on NESN)

Scoreless at the end of 1st period.

Providence has 8 shots, UNH has 3… Plenty of skating up & down, but no outrageous opportunities on either side.

Potential upset to ponder between periods: Vermont leads BC 1-0 with 15 minutes remaining in that game…

Still scoreless, but fingers crossed as UNH is back on the PK.

Both Friar goals came during 2nd-period PP's last night…

Vermont holds on for a 1-0 victory over BC.

UNH still skating well, hoping to build on their 1-0 lead… 3:32 remaining in the second period. GO CATS!

18:40 remaining, and Providence pushes one past a prone Tirone… Game is knotted at 1-1.

UNH has withstood 3 of these so far, but man what a dangerous way to live…

Almost down to 12:00 in the OT… UNH calls timeout after icing… Faceoff in their end momentarily.

Still 1-1, with a 2-1 final score guaranteed for the third consecutive evening. Here's hoping UNH has the "2" -
