Probably the best first period UNH has had since the Maine series. Great stuff guys, keep it going!!

GREAT first period by UNH capped off with a goal by the captain. the box score has the shots at 14-7 in favor of UNH and 3 of those, I believe, came on that late power play for NU.
The changes in the lineup appear to have lit a fire under their butts, hopefully they can keep it rolling for the next 40

BU and UVM scoreless with 13:15 left in the 2nd
Maine leads 1-0 with 7:51 left in the first
UML leads 1-0 vs PC with 7:03 left in the first
BC leads 2-0 over UMass with 3:43 left

Think about the new line combos.
Thompson and Henrion on the same line - potential dual snipers.
Speelman digging the puck out for Sislo and he is great at backchecking.
Moses-Borisenok-Goumas - what can you say other than they're playing like the #1 line.
Glad to see McCarey replace the injured Burke. He can really dig in the corners and potentially set up Silengo and Sorkin. And McCarey can rip it too.

UNH has won more faceoffs tonight than I can remember in quite a while.

SOG in the arena listed as 10-7, but as Gibber said, many of NUs 7 came on their PP.

UNH needs to bottle this intensity and play with it the rest of the year. Great first period.
