At least Keith also rejected Maine ...
Ryan Bourque, meh.
Technically, both rejected himsmiley
Bourque made it to the show (a thank you game by the Rangers), which is more than can be said for Eruzione. He was a career minor leaguer, didn't accomplish anything notable.

Tyler Muszelik gets HE Rookie of the week for his 1-0 SO v Maine.
As per Watchung Tim Stutzle today you can see what kind of player he is though they managed to contain him well. Great skater and intuitive in his playmaking. Will be interesting to see how he pans out over time as you brought up today Chuck (eclipsing JvR)
Stutzle will be irrelevant in UNH player history in the NHL because he never showed up at the Whitt. Forward to watch will be Foegele, blueliners to watch will be Pesce and TvR, and goalie to watch will be CDS.
While grades might have been the public face put on Keith Y. not coming, my memory was he was part of some bad behavior in prep school.
On another note, Eric E. Success at Mercyhearst is almost unbelievable. This years numbers are 10 points better than his UNH totals. Yes it isAtlantic Hockey but could it be ice time and line played on?
Also in that class was a fan favorite Jackson P. Off to ND for a fifth year. One goal and 8 assists through 31 games. What happened there?

Chuck a few thoughts on your response. Travis transferred to a D3 school. He did in fact do very well but I can’t believe that it was on par with Ryan Black’s Babson team. But who knows?
I believe that Jackson was a first line center at ND, at least at the start of the year. Can’t say for how many games. And sure I get the childhood dream of playing there. Still doesn’t fully explain the lack of points (u less he fell to the 4th line as you indicate.
My big difference of opinion is Ryan Blacks importance to Souza’s team. I think he may be Souza’s best utility player. While great on the third line he has and can play up from there.
He brings energy to many situations and has been significant n the PK. The scoring is the result of playing for a D3 team that won and could score and a D1 that has struggled with scoring. If you had been there, I believe you would have seen his value. Realize this is all option so whatever.
I think you guys kind of made my point for me ... and to take nothing away from Ryan Black, but he IS (as described above) a "utility" player who brings energy (and flexibility) to the bottom six more than anything else. He probably feels a lot better about what he's been able to accomplish for UNH than BvR and Pierson feel about their 5th year experiences away from Durham. But it's hard to build a program around kids who are only going to be around for a year. Doubly so if they're not high-scoring impact players (i.e. Eichel). Kudos to Black for earning his keep, and kudos to MS7 for finding Black a role, but he's still a bottom six forward on a 9th place team. It's a nice story, but ... perspective.
while Eruzione scored the winning goal against the Soviets in the semi-finals at Lake Placid 43 years ago today.
Can't wait to play Vermont on a Thursday in front of 2,000 people to close out the regular season ;-)Interesting comments in the Union Leader around the proposed rennos at the 'Whitt! As this unfolds you can bet this will become (and IMHO) a relevant recruiting point..even bigger than the 'tron ha! Coach Souza's comments:
“I think you got a firsthand experience of what our facility, our fan base is like over the weekend,” Souza said after UNH’s scoreless tie with rival Maine last Saturday — the second of two sellout overtime home games against the Black Bears.
