HEA HQ is located near the sunny shores of Lake Quannapowitt on North Ave. in Wakefield MA, just off Rte. 128. Ironically, also MS7's hometown IIRC. Practically the hockey Center of the Universe. :D

If you're coming down from our little sliver of the NH Seacoast, it's just past where the serious morning commute traffic starts, about a mile or two after the old "Pleasure Island" amusement park. Gotta think our new commish deserves better than that ...

So, back of Bertagna's garage, or his basement, or maybe his attic is HEA-HQ?
 
Honestly, I don’t see anything that’s happened at UNH over the last decade that indicates Metcalf is the innovative hire HE was supposedly after or that he’s capable of fixing marketing and media concerns...

That said, who knows. The NCHC commissioner everyone wants to duplicate was basically hired out of Miami as a glorified director of hockey operations. And he has worked out fairly well in the eyes of most...

My initial reaction is they forced out a long time commissioner for more of the status quo - but for a league commissioner I can give them the benefit of the doubt.

What has really ‘made’ the NCHC the last few seasons? Not the commish, but winning. And winning titles...

Anything's possible, Snives. :) I guess maybe what I'm trying to get at is …

What amount of member school impact within active HEA operations is OR should be allowable?

And, is OR should there be a difference between off-ice and on-ice HEA involvement/impact??

Saw that today as well. Not sure what we can talk about...but, I'm getting ready to cheer on (I guess???) the BC Beagles as I understand anyway we can keep points away from those closest to us, the better chance we have to survive, at least, for now. Go Beagles!! :D of course this kind of thinking is like changing deck chairs on the Titanic and expecting different results....sigh.

Nearly impossible now. The schedule comparisons between UNH, Northeastern and Providence are too daunting. You know, I hate to give props to especially Maine, but they and UConn seized their opportunity the second half this year and ran with it and we just flat out didn’t. The chance to make a statement was there and we didn’t take advantage.

I had this all mapped out but the website timed out. But before I get into the standings I must fall on the sword as VSS was even for the weekend at UNH. Thinking he play for NU as they got pounded 10-1 with 7GA in the 2nd period. That tough to do

1. BC 28 (4LTP)
T2. Zoo Mass 24 (4LTP)
T2. Lowell 24 (4 LTP)
T2. Maine 24 (3LTP)
5. Sucks to BU 23 (4 LTP)
6. Yukon 22 (4LTP)
T7. NU 21 (4 LTP)
T7. PC 21 (3 LTP)
9. The U 19 (4LTP)
10. MC 15 (2 LTP)
11. VT 3 (4 LTP)

In a realistic world UNH gets 3 from BC and Lowell and ends with 22 which gets then to 6th as they lose the tie breaker to Yukon.

NU has two against VT so they move to 25 and drop UNH another spot. Based the remaining schedule I predict

1. BC 32
2. Zoo Mass 31
3. Lowell 29
T4. Maine 28
T4. Sucks to BU 28
T4. NU 28
7. PC 25
8. Yukon 23
9. The U 22
10. MC 15
11. VT 3

Hindsight says the sweep against UConn and the loss at MC costs the change to get killed at BC
