Wanted to report that last night in the autograph sesh the team was really positive and upbeat. Was great to see; they know what's ahead. I was so happy about Coach Souza's choice in giving TT the weekend. It was the right thing to do and I hope we see him again soon. No one is kidding themselves about the upcoming competition; how the team responds to that matters. I would not look past the Wildcats!! It's how you finish, right? Go 'Cats!!

Big congrats to goal tender Ty Taylor for being named HE's co defensive player of the week and to Patrick Grasso for receiving a mention for his 3 goal weekend! Woo! Go 'Cats!!

Well, BvR, who is on NESN tonight, ain't going to make that list, and neither is Blackburn. But, Grasso should make it, as he has all of next season for his red shirt year, I think.

It will be interesting to see if Taylor gets the nod again this weekend. Certainly rose to the occasion last weekend. We'll get to see if MS7 is a "hot hand" coach, or a "rotation" coach. Even if he does go with TT this weekend - and even if TT plays well again - it's hard to believe MS7 wouldn't go back to Robinson for at least one of the games the following weekend. But he surprised me with his call to go all in on TT last weekend, so who knows how he'll handle it from here on out. Either way, it's a refreshing change from his predecessor.

To take a little of the edge off this thread, and with the NH first-in-the-nation primary only a few weeks away, I'm going to post my own UNH-friendly version of the "UNH Primary", mostly pertaining to issues swirling around the future of the UNH Men's Hockey program. I'd ordinarily limit participation to just UNH voters, but since we all know our friends to the south often sneak over the border to "participate" in our voting, we will bow to the realities of real life and let non-UNH voters on here to try to tip the scales against the will of the UNH faithful. So without further ado, let's get going …
(1) Agree or Disagree - MS7 has done a good job as UNH head coach so far?
(2) Agree or Disagree - BS35+9's plan to bypass a national search to hire MS7 3 years early was genius?
(3) Agree or Disagree - Max Gildon will return for a 4th and final season at UNH next season?
(4) Agree or Disagree - UNH will qualify for the HE playoffs this season (top 8 finish)?
(5) Agree or Disagree - UNH will advance to the HE Semifinals (or beyond) in Boston this year?

Speaking of fascists, there is a good docuseries about WWII on Netflix. Worth a look. One interesting tidbit I did not know was that the Nazis were all higher than a kite on meth before going into battle. Also Hitler apparently was using cocaine.
