Sorry, Thiessen... but it would be hard to swallow two pretty good weekends vs CCHA powers Miami (OH) and Michigan only to lose our H.E. opener to a team that is 0-2-0 in HE and 0-2-1 overall. Not meant as a diss... .but rather just a statement that UNH, if it intends to contend for the league this year, needs to win games like these.

As for Northeastern.... no doubt.. they can't afford to go 0-3-0 to start the HE season. So... this game will end up in a tie, right? ;)

Thanks, Richard... hope your summer was great! I have had a really busy month so not on here as much but clearly hope to be as the fall goes on! We have some serious drinking to get done while listening/watching the Cats! :)

Makes me a bit bummed... last time UNH played at Matthews Arena, me and the boys were there for our annual H.E. weekend (and UNH tied it up with about 10 seconds to play in the 3rd). Really a fun game that night...
