This now trumps the UMass debacle..... worst loss of the year... easy.

Oh well -- thanks for the info (boarding in 45 minutes or so). Can't help noting that we were nicely up 2-zip when I signed in here, and it was all downhill after that. Sorry, gang. :o

Gotta give Maine props, they hung in there. Congrats to the Black Bears tonight.

Although the bounce off the end boards might be seen as the deciding factor, for me it was Darlings save on Butler's short handed break away attempt that did it for me. If Butler scores there it's 3-1 UNH and probably a different game. Oh well, gotta win tomorrow.

I don't know, Chad....I was at that UMass game, and that was a pretty bad chokejob by the 'Cats.

#2 should have been tossed for hitting from behind after the 2nd to last faceoff (that should have been the last faceoff, there shouldn't have been any time left, but whatever)

oh well, good win for Maine, gotta come back tomorrow and take care of business

Parrot... no worries... just fact. Of the games UNH has lost, this was the worst... up two away in a tough building vs your arch-rival? Oh... and BC pounding UMass so our 5 pt lead is now down to 3. That was just a bit of salt in the wound.

UNH did not finish this game off. Teams with real aspirations of doing anything finish teams off. Bad to let this one go.
