Fallstrom scores. Insult to injury. 2:00 left to play in the 2nd.

Re: UNH at Harvard, Tuesday 11.22.2011

My mistake -- defenseman John Caldwell is indeed a Belmont Hill grad, but listed as being from Charlestown. Dad must own some property there.

Ouch. Fallstrom again. With 5 seconds left in the period.

Re: HU 0 UNH 0, Period 1

First UNH visit to Bright in 13 years?

Wow -- 5-4 with 5 ticks left. Turn the bus engine off.

HU 4 UNH 5, 2nd Intermission

HU 4 UNH 5, 2nd Intermission

And Fallstrom may have ended up assisting on that last one, I was being talked to over the call at the end. Either way. That was rotten, UNH.

4 GA on 12 shots in 20:00. Not going to help Di Girolamo's GAA.

Re: UNH at Harvard, Tuesday 11.22.2011

OK -- this is less a humorous tale than an old man's extended divergence.

But first, loved the gun show ad just then describing the USA as "the oldest democracy in the world".

Umm.. try that boast with an Icelander (or even a Swiss). Iceland has had a pure one for over 1,000 years. Swiss since the 13th Century -- so 900 yeards and counting...

Boring anecdote to follow.
