UNH at BU - HE Quarterfinal Game 3

Re: UNH at BU - HE Quarterfinal Game 3

Game tracker has Milan with 68 saves - is that correct ? Is that a record ?

Re: UNH at BU - HE Quarterfinal Game 3

Congrats, BU. Good luck next weekend.

And to the UNH Wildcats, you did us fans proud. Great job, despite the disappointing outcome.

Re: UNH at BU - HE Quarterfinal Game 3

Yah it might have been a sucky year, but I never saw UNH quit this year, and they gave BU everything they could handle this weekend.
It could have been a lot worse.

Re: UNH at BU - HE Quarterfinal Game 3

To all the UNH faithful, have a great spring and summer and I'll see you in October. As always, LET'S GO CATS!!

Dean :)

Re: UNH at BU - HE Quarterfinal Game 3

That might be right -- I think I may have been overseas then.

#17 basically defense-minded Bobby Gould with the winner in the '77 one. Blast on the full fly breaking in from the point.

And you'll remember the one that won our only Hockey East Championship in '79. #17 with the game winner at 17:17 of the third...

Tyson Teplitsky was credited with the OT winner against BU after an end to end rush....awww wait.

Also, HE didn't exist in 1979.

Re: UNH at BU - HE Quarterfinal Game 3

Wishing you a great summer, Dean.

I want to give big props to our guys -- they gave it their all, no bullets left in the barrel. Big heart. That's all you can ask for.

Congrats to the Terriers...

Sorry -- '77. In the dust of history. I won't get into who beat us next night in the final.

Certainly not used to the season ending on March 11th. :(
Now we know how the other half live, right? We have been extremely lucky. This just wasn't a good year. Let's hope that we rebound pretty quickly and get back to where we were.
