Around Hockey East: UML scores first in Lowell, 1-0 UML over Providence, about 2:30 left in their first period. Maine-Merrimack still scoreless, BC-UMass just started.

Story of the period, both teams had a lot of chances, the play was end to end, and was pretty even but Millan let in an absolutely ****ty goal from 55 feet out.

Hockey East scores:

Merrimack leads Maine 1-0, Maine is on the PP. Two minutes or so left in the first.
UML leads Providence 1-0, UML is on the PP. End of 1.

Second period is underway.

Lowell has doubled their lead, now 2-0 UML.

BC-UMass is still scoreless but I doubt that one will be for much longer.
