Best throw out of a second base steal I've ever seen (and I went to my first game when Yaz was a rookie). Unreal throw and tag on a speedster who had a great jump and had it obviously stolen.

A Detroit-Philly would be great for them both, eh?

Ya, Game 5 was an amazing game, especially if you're a Cardinals fan. Carpenter was phenomenal in the DS. I'm not terribly surprised about either the Phils or the Yanks. The Yankees never impressed me all year. The Phils ended the season on a horrible note and it just carried over into the playoffs. Howard tore his Achilles and may not be ready for the start of spring training. Maybe he can spend that time visualizing how to hit an off speed pitch.

I thought Utley's deep fly ball was a HR for sure. I exhaled as it landed in Jay's mitt. The Yankees has great hitting and suspect pitching, I think Nova getting hurt doomed them.

Empty net for UNH with about five minutes. And that means I gotta run, take care of yourselves.

Chiasson scores the empty netter. 4-0, 4:19 left.

Good night,erin. My feed croaked too. This is a bit too much like the UNH-Villanova score today, but in the wrong direction. :(

Oh, well, it's BU in Boston, they're good this year, and I've sure Jackie had them all stoked up for UNH.
