Hopefully BU will get their act together and have a professional radio feed in the future.

Millan appears to have redeemed himself after a terrible showing in last week's exhibition game...good for him, bad for UNH

From what I heard, BU had a full practice that day which led to some major issues with fatigue.

Welcome back, Terrierbyassociation -- hope you had a good summer.

Completely agree about that game being a classic, regardless of your loyalties. Just awesome, well played baseball. Unreal fielding plays by both squads.

I'm happy for Chad; sad for Dean. From a very selfish perspective (as I'm halfway between Philly and NYC), both upsets make my life very slightly easier as a guy with a Sox logo on his car.

Wow, Escobedo destroyed Henrion, the radio...the crowd...I haven't heard a crowd react to a hit like that in a while-charging is the call.

Hey TBA. Has BU gone to a pay feed or do they just not have a webcast anymore?

Ya, Game 5 was an amazing game, especially if you're a Cardinals fan. Carpenter was phenomenal in the DS. I'm not terribly surprised about either the Phils or the Yanks. The Yankees never impressed me all year. The Phils ended the season on a horrible note and it just carried over into the playoffs. Howard tore his Achilles and may not be ready for the start of spring training. Maybe he can spend that time visualizing how to hit an off speed pitch.

Summer was grand, way better than last year's summer. :P That Furcal play...I actually got up and fist pumped. Did you know that with the Phillies being knocked out the top NINE teams in baseball for payroll didn't make it to the LCS? Detroit is 10th.

As a neutral it's fun to see the playoffs without any of the regular teams except for the Cardinals (and I hope they go down next.)

Chad and the Detroit people really deserve some good times sports wise. :)
