When they went on that 8 game skid after clinching I had a real bad feeling about the playoffs. And then when the bats went cold after the third inning of game two I had a real feeling of dread. I've seen this too much from this team, where they go collectively awful at the plate and nothing seems to get them out of it. Frustrating to waste such great pitching.

Well that was a waste of 2 perfectly good minutes. Burke and Nicastro off, so they'll go 4 on 4 for a couple of minutes.

Sorkin and Block combine for a nice 2 on 1, good shot. Puck loose for a while, but no goal.
