Richard and Erin... beer of the night: Saugatuck Brewing Company's Oval Beach Blonde Ale.... Not bad, but not quite as good as their Singapore IPA. Still, certainly passable for a blonde ale.

Nice... I've been drinking wine. Ha. Beer fail, but still so good. I love my Pinot Noir.

Thanks, Scott and Erin... very exciting as their team is very young (both cross country and track & field). They won the Michigan State Championship in the spring in track and field and have now won the cross country title. My daughter is a junior, so she is going to have a shot at this three more times (track & field in spring 12, cc in fall 12, and track & field again in spring 13).

UNH comeback against Maine was evidently pretty cool. :cool:

I've had a perfect football day. There's the UNH win over Maine for starters.

Then on a game that made it to TV even down here, Harvard (where I got my grad degree) absolutely spanked Yale (where my dad did).

Beat Yale by the biggest margin in at the Yale Bowl in 97 years! (1914 was worse). 42-7, after Yale scored first. Wish I could bust his balls about it, as he used to do mine back when Yale was dominating.

HU 1-1 against Yale in their last 11 meetings... :D

I have to say, the progress of Knodel each game is impressive. He scared the bejesus out of me to start the season. He's looking MUCH improved.
