UMaine won the 20th century, has a narrow lead in the 21st century, you have a WAY better coach, and Nazis were socialists.
You need remember, I'm always all about reality, but I'm just as rabid a UNH fan as you are a UMaine fan. Wanting UNH to beat UMaine at Alfond was just recognizing a chance (which MS7 & Co. blew) to make a real statement. UNH doesn't get that by beating Merrimack, UVM or Lowell, or other lesser programs.
It was great to be a UNH fan when the 'Cats beat UMaine in 2002 in the HEA Finals. Way better than if they'd beaten Providence or Northeastern, y'know??
There are plenty of UNH fans who might recall the win over UMaine in 2002, but forget who UNH beat in 2003 to repeat as HEA champs.

I thought that the OT 1-0 win over BU in 2003 was much more meaningful to me than the 3-1 win over Maine in 2002. But I always have valued wins over BC and BU that go back long before Maine even played Div 1 hockey. When I was in Orono for grad school in the 1970s, Maine only played club hockey in an outdoor rink along the river.

Chuck has committed perjury under oath numerous times when testifying saying he is not in favor of the UNH coaching staff when his support for MS7 was obvious prior to the dismantling of UNH by Maine in HE quarters of spring of 2024. This is conduct unbecoming of any member that tries to practice in this court. The court does hereby sentence Chuck “El Douche” Murray to 30 days of heckling to be carried out by a firing squad.
