UNH 2025 Offseason: Where in the World is MS7?

e.cat, y'know ... it's time for you and the fam to trickle on down to Effingwoods. WAY closer to the arena, too. State government is solidly red, and the DC contingent is also about to start swinging back in the right (Right) direction shortly. Just like it's supposed to be. You know it makes sense. Come on home.
Trust me, it's crossed my mind more than once Chuck. Three of my five kids are near by and six of my seven (soon to eight) grandchildren are here as well so the good wife would not take too kindly to leaving.

Oh, brother. Another Granite header, er Granite stater, using worn cliches. Massachusetts is a hub of innovation and education. Just look at the property values. NH is running out of money to meet its basic needs. The biggest asset NH has is access to Massachusetts residents that leave tip money at a few restaurants in Portsmouth and Lake Winny amd ski at the White Mountains.

Without the generosity of Massachusetts residents, NH residents would resort to cannibalism.
Your arrogance is palpable Potty. In line with the coastal elite politician class you have down there. FWIW I loved Boston when I worked down there in the financial district in the early 80s and met my wife there as well. Not so much now. You can have the traffic and illegals and throw in Wu while you're at it. Thanks for taking the bait. Cheers

Not as elite as Trump's golf weekends at Mar-a-Lago and Bedminster. What a waste of taxpayer money....and who is REALLY running this country?

... uhhhh ... you know he owns those places, right?? AND he's not taking a salary, for the fifth year straight???

You're only 4+ years late with the highlighted question, though. Classic projection.

No question now, DJT is in charge (which still irks your kind LOL), with the clear mandate to lead, too.

Yup, it's definitely in the name, moron. They definitely didn't like Marxists, but not for the silly reasons you lefty apologists try to convince yourselves ...

Thus, from Hitler’s perspective, Marxism differed from Nazism because the Nazis would not let the “international Jew” use them for capitalist ends, nor would they let any element of democracy remain. In fact, democratic elements were so repugnant to the National Socialist theory that the:

This explains Nazism’s repression of Marxists throughout the regime—a fact sometimes offered as proof of National Socialism’s underlying capitalism. But Hitler and his followers rejected Marxism on the belief that it was a clandestine method for achieving capitalism, believing that the class warfare was merely a pretense, “meant solely to prepare the ground for the rule of truly international finance capital.”

The problem with Marxism for the Nazis was its Jewish connections and Hitler’s belief in an undercover capitalism inherent in the methodology suggested for reaching socialism, not anything pertaining to economic socialism itself. Therefore, the professed goal of a Marxist revolution—that being socialism—was still a valid and desirable end, but the method for attainment would be that of German Nationalism.

In fact, Hitler routinely showed his frustration for those whose, “brains have not grasped the difference between Socialism and Marxism even yet.” Significantly, the more astute and principled of German businessmen resisted Nazism on the grounds that it was a modification of Marxism sharing the same goal but substituting the class struggle with race.

Just take another L and move on, you're just proving more and more what a naive socialist apologist you are on this stuff ... and then we can move on to the more meaningful stuff, like your brain-dead moron Governor, who sees no reason to prevent biological men from competing against women in sports. 🤪
I no longer live in Maine. I share the same brain dead Governor you do. I live here so I don’t have to pay state income tax.

You are as wrong about my political preferences as you are about the Nazi’s being communist.

Another loss for Chuck.

By the way have you done your yearly thing where you like the job coach has done, can see hope for the team, believe they will win enough to get home ice for the hockey east playoffs, etc…. ? You did say recently you are considering season tickets again. You will soon be backing an extension just like you did when Souza was last extended after the ~20 win season. You do remember that season, right? The one where you were predicting an upset at the Alfond in the hockey east quarters. Only to see your teams completely embarrassed and whiped out of any post season aspirations.

You really are dumb for wanting to have your team go to Alfond in the post season. Dumber for proving you know nothing about the Nazi form of government by saying they were communist in a war with communist Russia even. What a buffoon you really are Chuck.

Sparkee as either a conservative Republican or a rabid Libertarian? Given the comments about our shared Gov, must be the latter.

At least we're breaking even then, with our new UMaine fan/NH resident balancing things off with e.cat as a UNH fan living in Maine.

As to the idea of the Germany-Russia thing, you again misspeak. Nazi's were socialists (again, it's in the name, which they gave to themselves), and Soviet Russia was communist. Communism is end stage socialism, once the whole "share and share alike" thing inevitably breaks down. Also, Molotov-Ribbentrop had the two eventual enemies co-existing for almost 2 years, fracturing not due to political ideology, but to Nazi (socialist) Germany's imperial desires now that Western Europe was theirs.

Stick to hockey, my fellow New Hampshirite. (y)

You still do have issues with the voices in your head bending what I've written, Sparkee, but I trust everyone else on here knows where I stand.

I sense you have lightened your stance. I’m glad you finally admitted I was right. I will accept your apology.

You are too much. If you see an apology in mine, then I see an apology in yours. It's really up to you (again).

UMaine won the 20th century, has a narrow lead in the 21st century, you have a WAY better coach, and Nazis were socialists.

You need remember, I'm always all about reality, but I'm just as rabid a UNH fan as you are a UMaine fan. Wanting UNH to beat UMaine at Alfond was just recognizing a chance (which MS7 & Co. blew) to make a real statement. UNH doesn't get that by beating Merrimack, UVM or Lowell, or other lesser programs.

It was great to be a UNH fan when the 'Cats beat UMaine in 2002 in the HEA Finals. Way better than if they'd beaten Providence or Northeastern, y'know??

There are plenty of UNH fans who might recall the win over UMaine in 2002, but forget who UNH beat in 2003 to repeat as HEA champs.

I thought that the OT 1-0 win over BU in 2003 was much more meaningful to me than the 3-1 win over Maine in 2002. But I always have valued wins over BC and BU that go back long before Maine even played Div 1 hockey. When I was in Orono for grad school in the 1970s, Maine only played club hockey in an outdoor rink along the river.

Oh, Buford, not surprising you are ignorant. The Nazis were a conservative totalitarianism party. Just stop writing about poltics, history and anything else other than UNH hockey.
AND he's not taking a salary, for the fifth year straight???

That's a gimmick designed to impress idiots like you that make $5K per year. JFK didn't take a salary. So what? It just amplifies their wealth, not what good they can do. Trump makes millions personally by being president that fools like you can't understand. It's smart for a paper billionaire to run for office and not take a salary when becoming president means he can push what turns out to a be a personal tax cut that makes him hundreds of millions of dollars.

You need to abstain from discussing fact based matters. You don't have the intellect, education and, more problematically, the willingness to find out the truth.

Did you ever go to school at UNH? I know you went to Maine and Bentley.

Chuck is a lawyer. It is in his nature to argue any angle he can even if it is complete baloney. He also is prototypical of a lawyer in that he is genuinely an a$$hole. Only here there is no judge, so he can get out of control and nobody is there to strike his disingenuous testimony.

I will be the unbiased judge and rule on this case Potluck vs. Chuck.

The court rules in favor of Potluck. In addition, the court finds Chuck in contempt. Chuck has continuously slandered and abused everyone in the court proceedings including the jury and general onlookers of the audience. Chuck has committed perjury under oath numerous times when testifying saying he is not in favor of the UNH coaching staff when his support for MS7 was obvious prior to the dismantling of UNH by Maine in HE quarters of spring of 2024. This is conduct unbecoming of any member that tries to practice in this court. The court does hereby sentence Chuck “El Douche” Murray to 30 days of heckling to be carried out by a firing squad.

Chuck, let this time correct your behavior. Addressing me properly as “your honor” will go a long way in reducing your time due to good behavior.

As a long time Maine fan I feel the same way about beating BU and BC, its only younger fans that get all excited about UNH.

The beautiful thing is, we're not having to build any new prisons ... just giving folks illegally trespassing in our country a choice to go home of their own volition, with a little spending money as a parting gift, or a free flight back to their homelands, maybe with a stop at the Guatemala Hilton if they're sufficiently mobbed up. Fair, no? Hardly Auschwitz, no matter how much you and your Nazi apologist socialist pals may detest law enforcement.

While we're on the topic of freedom vs. totalitarianism ... remind me, please, who was responsible for the following from 2021-2025:

* Propping up a live corpse as a figurehead, while unelected bureaucrats committed treasonous acts?
* Seizing upon a potentially deadly virus to enforce dumb mask mandates, even for healthy people?
* Making up "science" as you went along, ignoring natural immunity, defending the Wuhan (CCP) lab?
* Lockdown mandates, and "you can't even go outside" mandates in certain areas (CA/MN)?
* Service members getting fired for not taking experimental vaccines or subsequent 284 boosters?
* You can go shop at some nondescript box store, but you can't go to your place of worship?
* Social distancing 6 feet apart, groups of 10 or less, violation of this random BS is verboten??
* Setting up hotlines to the local authorities so you can rat out your neighbors on the above???

That's all on you and your D heroes. Why is it that left leaning folks just can't take their L's and move on?? Worst thing for you now is, the MSM and Dem leaders have all been exposed, and no one believes the crap you're apparently still trying to sell.

Q: What's the difference between a right-wing conspiracy theory and the truth?
A: About 6 months.

One of favorite things to do during the lockdown was mess with the fine folks at r/boston and r/massachusetts and tell them about how my fake vaxx card got me into all the good restuarants. It drove the chitlibs absolutely bananas. Sadly, like the good old days of the USCHO board, those times have passed. :(
