Notice if you will, your former bestie's cunning substitution of the word "
immoral" for "illegal". As you've pointed out (surprisingly well, I might add), there is nothing immoral nor illegal about what UMaine is doing with its wait list. Frankly, it's smart business, and the relatively small sum involved is hardly usurious or exploitative, and fans have the option of just saying no OR putting that sum up not only to mark their place in line, but also enjoy some of the fringe benefits.
Potty tried this same "immoral" schtick against UNH in his spectacularly failed argument about how UNH allegedly did the deceased librarian dirty in allocating part of his gift to the UNH football stadium's scoreboard. Now that you/UMaine are at the other end of this judgmental blowhard's wrath ... how does it feel??
Right now, Potty's scoreboard is showing he's down at least 3-0, getting drubbed on the UNH Library, UMaine waitlist, and NH income tax policy arguments.
But at least the folks over in Effingham NH (not to be confused with Effingwoods BTW) now know who's responsible for the recent run on pesticides ...
