The USCHO Fan Forum has migrated to a new plaform, xenForo. Most of the function of the forum should work in familiar ways.
Please note that you can switch between light and dark modes by clicking on the gear icon in the upper right of the main menu bar.
We are hoping that this new platform will prove to be faster and more reliable. Please feel free to explore its features.
Maine disrupted NU for 40 minutes.....UNH will need 60! If they can play with the same tenacity, grit and big desire to be the better team, and of course the National Defensive Player of the month needs to continue her strong play, the Wildcats can play again tomorrow! Let’s do this Cats!!
2 nice goals out UConn up in the first.....real nice snipe to the upper right, and a nice Damone into the scoring area.....very glad that Bob Deraney and @Kaleigh Fratkin are doing the color for this game!
If only UNH was playing the game as they had their last 6 but alas they’re not....give UConn credit, for as Deraney said their coach has them very disciplined and playing his system to a T......it’ll be an interesting game tomorrow to see if NU’s offense can outskate the disciplined UConn team
Have to agree with Epic on this.....used the same 8/9 forwards all year - they havent scored and wont score. Witt simply changes those 8/9 around!! have 2 other forwards who can compete with half the forwards who are getting all the playing time....but in Witts mind lets use slower players who may eventually score someday... Lets face it there is not alot of Hockey IQ on this team...which is strange because of the amount of Sr.s?? but then the SR.s took 5 of the 7 penalties this weekend
Sorry to say ... I told you so when she was hired. She had some great talent at Yale and couldn't Coach her way out of a paper bag. No one leaves a Ivy League head job voluntarily. She was bad on and off the ice, the Yale AD sent her packing when her on and off ice issues were brought to his attention by the players. Hope your AD makes the right move and brings in a talented coach. I wish you all well, UNH deserves much better.
