UNDEFEATED Bye Week @ UNDEFEATED Michigan Tech, 10/22 and 10/23

Due to interference with drop-in hockey, these games will be played at Houghton County Arena in Hancock. The last minute arrangements dictate that the puck will drop a bit later than usual at 12:30 AM Eastern, but that's OK because Bye Week U apparently has a lot of fans in Hawaii.

I heard that they were thinking about saving money by doing a double header with 15 minutes between the games during the non-prime ice hours.

Bye, wanting to not waste their travel money, is also planning games against Finlandia, the Calumet Copper Kings, the Watersmeet Nimrods, the George Gipp midgets, the Wolverine Old timers and the 1904-05 championship team from Mohawk.

Good news, BWU just couldn't close open lanes last night. BWU ended up getting 6 penalties for impeding traffic away from the play and Tech continued on their impressive PP offense by posting 6 PP goals against BWU's 5 goals! Tech, however, was unable to score while on even strength. Every BWU goal was a deflection off of a BWU player while trying to clear on the penalty kill. On a sad note, one BWU player did not survive the game after John Scott's SUV randomly appeared and ran it over. One other notable injury was Ricky Doriott who was confused, started eating Rhode Cohen, and choked on a piece of him. He has been treated and released but the team has ordered him to stay away from any small objects such as crayons or army men figures.

Also, correct me if I am wrong.. but I believe this is the first non 0-0 game against BWU in at least 2 years?

Anyone hear how the game went? There was a radio blackout. Not one of those media term blackouts, they decided to play the game in the dark to save money. I heard they got by because of BWU's reflective uniforms, though.

I had to call someone up there for the score, and I guess we're back to 0-0 ties. Even Dirk sounded like a normal adult male, apparently because he slept through the 2nd and 3rd periods. Also, Mitch Lake allegedly porked a 14 year-old in the HoCo Arena bathroom; charges may be pending.
