UND @ SCSU - 2/13 - St. Valentine's Day non-Massacre

Re: UND @ SCSU - 2/13 - St. Valentine's Day non-Massacre

SCSU had to get a break sometime!

I think they had their breaks last night. They've been outplayed for majority of the weekend and they got 2 pts. I think thats pretty favorable. Even Motzko saw that as the case last evening.

Re: UND @ SCSU - 2/13 - St. Valentine's Day non-Massacre

Without Marvin on the ice, the Sioux players might be safe from cheap, checking from behind by Marvin and season ending injuries. Explain why you think Marvin is more valuable to SCSU than Lammy is to UND. Give up on your "goon" reference already.

When did I EVER call either player a goon?

Your comments imply Marvin is nothing but a goon because of one poor play by him when he has no history of gooning it up.

Marvin is part of SCSU's penalty kill and missing him for 10 minutes is a problem. I can't say as far as Lammpy's importance to UND as Marvins, but I do feel Marvin is very important to SCSU's team.

Game should be 6-2 but the officals miss a call.

No goal, UND 6 SCSU 1.

Re: UND @ SCSU - 2/13 - St. Valentine's Day non-Massacre

Bull****, UND gets a goal and its 7-1 when SCSU should have been awarded a goal on a missed call by the officals.

AGAIN, on the replay, NOTHING showed that puck over the line so how do you get a goal awarded for a puck that doesn't go into the net?

Re: UND @ SCSU - 2/13 - St. Valentine's Day non-Massacre

how so? The puck didn't go in. Nothing on that replay showed it over the line. Nice try

Sorry, I'm listening to the radio broadcast from SCSU. They said that the SCSU player was checked into the UND goaltender which cased the no goal call.

If that isn't right I was mislead by the radio.

Never referred to Marvin as a goon. His history against UND is cheap shot to a valuable player. Could he do it again? UND does not want to lose another player because of a cheap shot. Lammy was willing to settle it one on one with Marvin. The officials would not allow it. Lets hope the officials made the right call.

You were. The shot towards the net happened with the St Cloud player in the net. On the replay, when they had it froze, it looked directly over the top of the line. Nothing from the replay could say it crossed over before coming back out. (unless someone has a better view on TV from what I could tell on the B2 feed)

It wouldn't matter if the score board reads 6-1 or 6-2. State got out played all game.

Please tell me when I said SCSU was NOT outplayed?

Its a matter of pride. 6-2 seems a little better than 7-1.

Once again since I'm only listening to the radio I was lead to believe it should be a goal since the SCSU player was forced into the goaltender by a UND player.

Penalties coming up - offsetting?

Lots of misconducts and SCSU comes out with a PP for the rest of the game - about 4 minutes left
