UND @ SCSU - 2/13 - St. Valentine's Day non-Massacre

Re: UND @ SCSU - 2/13 - St. Valentine's Day non-Massacre

Sioux did not bait Marvin. They protect their own. The officials should have let Marvin and Lammy go at each other. It would have been over. The third period could get ugly because of the officials intervention in the first period.

Really? How did they protect their own during this game? Lossing Marvin for 10+ minutes hurt SCSU much more than UND losing Lammy for the same amount of time.

I won't deny it was a smart move for Lammy to do what he did. I don't buy the fact that the officials messed up a call in the first period meaning the 3rd period will be bad. Unless you are implying that UND with a 6-0 lead will goon it up against SCSU because of what happened earlier.

I know SCSU likes to rotate their goalies, but considering how well Dunn has played against UND, I was surprised to see Lee in the net tonite.

Neither Dunn or Lee has proved themselves as the true #1 goaltender for SCSU. Dunn's play Friday didn't deserve the start over Lee considering the recent play of both Dunn and Lee.

Well I was going to say 6-1 SCSU but it was kicked in by Lasch.

What a sorry game by SCSU and a great game by UND.

Without Marvin on the ice, the Sioux players might be safe from cheap, checking from behind by Marvin and season ending injuries. Explain why you think Marvin is more valuable to SCSU than Lammy is to UND. Give up on your "goon" reference already.
