UND @ CC. Battle for home ice in the playoffs.

Re: UND @ CC. Battle for home ice in the playoffs.

Every season when NoDak comes to town this question always pops into my head... Are there a TON of NoDak alumni who live the Springs or do Sioux fans travel from NoDak?

Both.
There are a lot of Sioux alumni in CO (Denver, specifically), but Sioux fans also travel very well.

Anyone see Johnny Toews interview on ESPN today? Dang that is one ugly dude. Between him, Oshie and Duncan that might have been the most goofy looking line in WCHA history.

Agreed. When I was out in the Springs/Denver last year, and the year before, there were a ton of North Dakotans. Also, in the Springs there are a TON of Wisconsinites. My buddy and his girl (from WI) had 3-4 different neighbors, all from WI. It was like I was in hell. ;)

I'm glad you thought it was that way. That means you'll be staying away from our turf. :D

Oops. Wrong thread if you're cruising for cute guys to pick up. Might try the Olympic Hotties thread in cafe.

I've been told in previous Sioux threads to not feed the troll(s)...

Re: UND @ CC. Battle for home ice in the playoffs.

Is this game on B2 network again? What's the price we are looking at and is it pretty good quality?

Re: UND @ CC. Battle for home ice in the playoffs.

Is CC on break or something? The "student section" was empty tonight- maybe 50-100 people. For as much crap as DU's fan base gets, at least we can fill the arena for North Dakota and students stand up the whole time.

I'd give attendance 6,000 and 30-40% of that were Sioux fans, much louder than the rest of the arena.

Re: UND @ CC. Battle for home ice in the playoffs.

Isn't that what it's like at Magness too? :D

Yep, but at least in the student section that was due to the ticket office deciding not to include it on the student ticket package because it technically fell within break.

I hate to admit it, but that sort of following makes me very jealous.
