Would you be saying the same thing if a UND player had taken out one of your talented players (Roe and Lasch) with a brutal, dirty, gutless hit and that said player was only given a one flimsy one game suspension. I can only imagine that your coach would have asked for the league to throw the book at him. Remember you coach had a hissy fit over one goal. I can't imagine what he would do if this scenario happened to your team.

If he had the right connections, that wouldn't shock me.

Frankly, I'm bored with people taking shots at me attending SCSU, especially Gopher fans on here, over half of which never sniffed a college text book. I got my admission letter from the U, but SCSU was cheaper, gave me in-state tuition because of my ACT scores, was a good school for education, was further away from the folks which I liked, and unlike the U had a club bowling team. Little did I know that 9 years later, as an added bonus they'd have a better men's hockey team too. :D

Wish I'd kept my U acceptance letter so I could **** on it.

And you actually had the professor teach the class vs some grad student! We need to be careful though, UHM could catch wind of this and pipe in something about the #26 school in the country.

Euro, you teach in the area?

Hockey content, does Hextall not being available conveniently work out so one of the normal bench guys can be on the ice (Davidson, etc?)

I went for education, 'cause I thought I wanted to teach high school history. Turns out, most high school kids don't care a tenth as much as I did about high school history, so I went another route.

We're in the same boat, except I was at the middle school level for 5 yrs.

This was an interesting tidbit I just found:

Sep., 1946 -- The University of North Dakota hired John C. (Jamie) Jamieson as hockey coach. Jamieson, a student at the university, led the first post-war team to a 7-6-0 overall record, playing area town and college teams. Jamieson's squad, made up of 19 players, opened the season at home, Jan. 6, 1947 losing to St. Cloud Teachers, 8-1.

Look...let's cut to the chase here. We obviously have a problem in our relationship and I don't know about you but I'm willing to work on it. How 'bout we meet in Mpls., you buy me a beer and we can discuss our differences. What do you say?

Yes, I'm sure Hextall is really ready to go but Hakstol wants to keep him on the bench so that Davidson can fight Marvin. Nothing like swapping a guy with 8 goals for another with 0 points so that they can dish out the payback.
