UMD at North Dakota, Saturday 11/6

Re: UMD at North Dakota, Saturday 11/6

And that's the end of Regulation.

JT Brown was tripped up with about 45 seconds to a minute left, and no call...looks like the refs decided to swallow the whistle for the last 2 minutes...plenty of chances by both teams...

Off to Overtime

2-2

Congrats UMD on the split.

Fun weekend of hockey for the fans. Both good teams and showed it tonight especially!

Duluth is good in OT games evidently...that's already their 3rd OT win this year.
Nice play on the game winner.
Fun game, too bad UMD had to win. :)

Re: UMD at North Dakota, Saturday 11/6

Well, one thing I can definitely say is that both teams went for the win in this one. Neither wanted to draw, and that was evident by the last 3-4 minutes of regulation, and the short overtime.

Dell played well, made some good saves. I don't really blame him for any of the 3 goals. We had plenty of chances to win, and even a couple in overtime, but couldn't get anything to go in the last half of the game.

It was a good series, both squads played good hockey, and at the end of the weekend, I think a split was just about right/fair. Saying that, it would have been nice to get the sweep early.

Sioux fall to 5-4-1 through their first 10 games. It has definitely been a tough stretch, and will not get any easier as we head to Wisconsin next weekend. Hopefully we can get four points, but realistically will be looking for two.

Anyway, good game tonight to both teams, and the Bulldogs were a well-deserved winner.
