Boarding call on UML and Speelman is down. Looks like it might a collarbone or shoulder injury. 2:44 gone in the second.

Radio and the TV both think it was a hip check. Unusual for the opposing sides to agree something shouldn't have been a penalty :confused: THey showed a replay but the lighting is so bad on the feed I couldn't even see the 'hit'

Ya, my gut on that was that Speelman slipped on his way into the boards.

OUr radio guys were wondering if it was even a penalty when they were shocked to see the boot. Refs are confusing everyone.

Kipp gets a 5:00 major and game misconduct at 11:27 left in the 2nd for hitting from behind.... UNH still up 2-0.

That was one of the worst ejections I have ever seen in hockey. They blew the call on the Speelman penalty too. Tough period to be a zebra.

Yep and throw in this last penalty to Hardowa and the pain just gets worse.

Well... HE refs have sucked for years.... remember Conrad Hache???

Now UML drawing a penalty for who knows what. Seemed like the UML defenseman was just playing defense, but apparently that's a penalty tonight.
