Can't believe how terrible Wisconsin was, the build-up and hype surrounding them and how tough a draw they were for Lowell looks like a joke now. Anyone see Suter near the end of the third respond to some trashtalking from Wisconsin and just laugh, pointing at the scoreboard?

Thanks for the kiss of death Barry Melrose, picking Wisconsin to win it all. Let's hope Dave Starman was on with his UML prediction!

That was my favorite moment in the game. I wish I'd gotten a picture of it.

Stuck for an hour in traffic to go <3 miles to get to the rink off 293. Started out early enough that I should have been well in time for puck drop. Missed all but 5 mins of the 1st period. Listened to WUML and was screaming like a mad woman in the car when #14 scored. Coolest thing was the people in the next car were cheering too. The early goal relieved a lot of anxiety but I would have liked to have seen it.

Sidenote- absolutely abysmal venue for access. No traffic control. UUTF are they thinking not having anyone to direct traffic except to help pedestrians cross the street? That was utterly ridiculous. :mad:

St Cloud doesn't win NCAA games much less whole regions. Mankato is the last real WCHA team left. That would be a miracle though.

The venue was great to watch a game.... but other than that... the place is horrendous! My father when we were leaving hurt his ankle on the stairs ... and it was only until he doubled over that he received assistance after hobbling for what felt like 10 steps!

Any way we could get the call of the he championship game? Bob if you read the forum let us know lol His reaction must have been priceless

Agreed, great place to watch the game, many dining and drinking options nearby, loved the light show and logos outside on the building and plaza pavement, concessions were a bit of a cluster with one side selling some items different from the opposite and not knowing that until you got up near the front of the line, really tight/jammed concourse (but that's fine as it means attendance is good). Hope your dad is ok and everyone's back tomorrow night.

UML downs Wisconsin 6-1. The transition game was very impressive. Bazin credited his team's speed and the importance he placed during preparation of preventing Wisconsin from setting up their defense.

Good luck to the River Hawks in the finals tonight.

I don't think anything beats Hartford where if you want to go from 84 to 91 you either have to take a separate highway or deal w a surface level exit... Amongst several other instances of crazy

You weren't sitting through 3 lights at the end of the exit with people driving over the top of the median to get where they needed to go. Holy Hannah!

Better off taking the old airport exit just after the new one/toll, then taking a left and coming in the back way which should take you right past Murphys to the arena. Shouldn't be as bad today but if you have no work, just get there early like a lot of us are.

Is that why that won was backed up too? That one was a mess as well. How about realizing ManchVegasis completely inept and just planning on leaving 2 extra hours to get there. Sheesh.

Watching the replay now. Still don't think that was a penalty much less a penalty shot. What a joke. :confused:

Equally unfunny was the way the broadcast handled it. Glad that commercial was more important than coming back for the penalty shot and/or putting in one more commercial after the red light went off.
