Will bad officiating be Tim's excuse again?

Will Maine get up for a "lesser opponent" for the second time all season?

Will UMass continue its unbeaten streak and show that it is not a lesser opponent?

Will Sullivan get HIS shutout, and get his old job back?

Will UMass unveil an even more amazing jersey, to add to its collection of "what were they thinkings"?

will a win today make Maine fans jump right back on that band wagon and forget all of the third period leads that were squandered?

will Gustav watch a PP from the bench and allow others a chance to do something?

Well I see whitehead has done the opposite of blame the officials. Instead he has blamed a good physical play by anthoine (horrible call on that major) and has decided to bench anthoine. That is BS as far as I'm concerned. That is not the message I would want to send my team.

Was a bad 5 and I am a big Anthoine fan, think the kid is going to be a good one. However we have gotten 0 production from 3rd and 4th lines this year, so maybe we can find a spark.

when are they going to learn who is a righty and who is a lefty?
it is these fundamental, simple parts of the game that Timmy just ignores.

I'm really low on Tim right now but enlighten me how he's at fault for Van Dyk's inability to put a pass on the tape? Should he change personnel on the PP? Do they not practice tape to tape passing?

Total domination by Umass. We are very lucky it isn't 3-0. Perhaps we will find some legs in the second period, but that was very, very ugly to watch.

they do not practice it
it is not a priority, Tim does not work on the little things.
watch the D in warm ups, it is pathetic... passes to the skates over and over and over... only 2 of them can "catch" a pass, the rest stop it.

I wish you could have seen the warm ups years ago when Shawn's defensemen could all handle the puck just a little less well than Leveille, now they play like it is a brick and their sticks have no curves. It is not THAT hard to learn softer hands, you practice with a shot put to learn to roll your wrists, you practice with a golf ball to work on speed (and wrist roll)... you practice, practice, practice...

watch Merrimack and Lowell on the PP... you will see tape to tape passing. They are not ask fast or skilled as Maine's players, but they do little things much better.
