UMaine: No Cure for the Summertime Blues but to BEAR the Months 'till October!

Re: UMaine: No Cure for the Summertime Blues but to BEAR the Months 'till October!

does anyone know where Brice O'Connor ended up? He played for a short time with Diamond out in Cali., in the ECHL, but I do not see him listed anywhere.

He's playing in my men's league in Portland. 3 goals, 3 assists in 4 games. By comparison, this overweight 38 year old has a 2-2-4 line. The only difference, he's going through the motions and I am weezing, panting, and near death. :o

Seriously though, good kid.

If only we could get more kids like him to stick around, just don't have the jobs though.

I haven't had a chance to see Maine yet and probably won't until December but I'm curious if anyone could let me know how Jack Musil has looked early on.

He was a -1 on Friday night and didn't skate on Saturday night. Need to see him more for an evaluation.

Bears win! Good game by the whole team. Like Hamilton and Hayes. They both bring an edge, Hayes is a beast.

Hayes and Hamilton - Hammer and Headache :D

Another dose of that tonight.

I was suitably impressed with Hayes when he carried half the AA team on his back with the puck down the ice to try and get a scoring chance ;)

Think he'll come along fine. Sees the ice well and dishes it off well from what little I've seen so far. Potential is there, just needs to complete the adjustment to college hockey.

How was the crowd?........was it a "sellout"?

Re: UMaine: No Cure for the Summertime Blues but to BEAR the Months 'till October!

1-0 Maine after 1. Hutton with a 5x3 powerplay goal.

Re: UMaine: No Cure for the Summertime Blues but to BEAR the Months 'till October!

UAA ties things up at 1 with a shortie....

Re: UMaine: No Cure for the Summertime Blues but to BEAR the Months 'till October!

and now it's 2-1 UAA as Coldwell steps out of the penalty box and beats Morris

Re: UMaine: No Cure for the Summertime Blues but to BEAR the Months 'till October!

Not tied any more, you would think getting a power play when up 1-0 would be a good thing.

or having 6 powerplays to UAAs 1....

and now maine going on their 7th pp

Re: UMaine: No Cure for the Summertime Blues but to BEAR the Months 'till October!

Malcolm Hayes makes it 2-2 on the pp... first career goal....

Re: UMaine: No Cure for the Summertime Blues but to BEAR the Months 'till October!

2-2 after two. Shore will be in the box for the first 1:59 of the third period....
