I believe the point was that the donation from Tom and Sally was probably not offered up 5 or 6 years ago was because TW was the HC, and they didn't care for him. I don't know whether any of that is true, just trying to correctly read between the poster's lines.

Does anyone know IF Nik Nugnes is back from his injury(undisclosed)...and if so does he have a chance at playing this weekend v. Union?

Apparently, Hayes will be in the lineup tonight as a forward.

OKAY now one of the worst 5 minute major calls EVER! Hayes best the kid to the end boards and turned and hit him shoulder to shoulder!!! Let's now take checking out of the game!

He wrecked the kid, get used to that call on him. He's a linebacker on skates. He apparently loves the weight room. Great sound when he hit him.

My god Maine looks anemic on offense......just very little skill, puck handling ability and speed. Yikes.

Final score should have been 4-0. Maine was lucky the officials ruled no goal in the first period. The puck was clearly in the net. Apparently the official had blown the whistle before the puck went in.
