You have the youngest team in hockey east. We were governed second based on age. Now our seniors aren't playing.

I don't think its the on ice talent as much as the man behind the bench

At least you got what you wanted for a playoff series. UNH in Orono, Students on break

There's a distinction to be made between "optimism" and "delusion"... That's my point.

Having said that, Sway looked good tonight, and Maine played a pretty-fair 3rd. It was a fairly fun game to watch. :o

Maine finishes 10-11-3 and will host UNH next weekend.

Maine goes 0-7 against the top three. 3-1-3 against the bottom three.

The last minute of this game was pathetic. Icing the puck and no poise at all. This was a winnable game. I don't know if it's talent, coaching or a combination of the two. At least they are better than last year, but are still under .500 in conference play. Could win next weekend and move on if they can get by Tirone.

More poetic, whistling Dick ends his career with one more heartbreak in Orono, or tortures the shell of this club one last time?

Probably go 3 games.

Swayman played well, team played better as game went on. They finished better than the 8th place I predicted so that's a good thing. I thought they might finish higher after we saw what Swayman brought to the table. Hopefully they advance to play a series on the road.

If Maine advances there's a good chance it will be Providence. Probably the season comes to an end.
