UMaine '26-'27: The Bridge On the River Stillwater

Maine held the #6 team in the country to less goals in a weekend than Merrimack or the Wildkitties did in a game. Parekh, Gerrior, Makway, Usereau all had great weekends. It's not going to be pretty every night but Maine can play with anyone, we'll see how consistent they can be. Should be a sweep against Colgate in two weeks.

What a game. Huge win, have to love the weekend even with a tough result last night. Maine looked every bit as good as Q, who also looked really good and showed they deserve their high rank. Team is night and day compared to last season, they work so much harder and are already playing as a team and unit. Agreed on Gerrior, he was already good last year but he was very noticeable this weekend, he and Parks looked like they had a lot of chemistry.

I also have made use of the Ignore feature for the first time for a certain "friend" of ours, you all should do the same.

What a fun weekend, Maine looks to be much improved from a system and effort standpoint. I see a lot of potential gems on this team too, I know there was some speculation about where goals would come from not just this year but also in the future. I feel really good about Gerrior, Makway, parks and the d core as we head into the rest of the season and future.

That Gerrior, Scott, Parks line looks like a real identity line for Maine, they were terrific tonight. Also shoutout to Boija who played great last night and really settled in tonight after a tough first period. The team plays like they did this weekend and they have a real shot at making the tourney and competing in hockey east.

Q series is always fun, hope they keep it on the schedule.

That was a fun game. The best part was how confident and focused that Maine was in the 3rd period. That was a HUGE problem last season. Hoping the offense continues to come along as the players get more comfortable and familiar with each other. Glad that Maine didn't have to face Kirsch tonight.
