UMaine 25-26: Marques My Word: Back to the Big Time

Rough 5 minute or so stretch for Maine but thought they were solid for the rest of the period. The goals will come, just need to tighten up defensively and cut out the bad penalties.

Don’t see Boija giving that one up often. Clean look, no screen, out fairly far, just a wrister… beat Boija glove clean.

Not his normal self yet.

So far yes. However UMass does not impress me at all.
I agree in as so far to say the difference has been in goal.

I think Boija gave up two softies, but stole one that normally would be a surefire goal.

I think Irving has stolen two goals already.

If the goaltending wasn’t lopsided tonight you would likely see it tied 2-2

Van Tassell must be the physically weakest player in Hockey East if all these light brushings keep knocking him over

I think only the third goal was on Boija. The second goal is getting scored every time, especially at 5x3, and the first goal I think we deflected. Also dosen't help that Langlois and Scott have each missed a yawning cage tonight.
