Sit down. Would be 10-4 without your tenderRoad teams are ruling Hockey East tonight. Maine over QU 4-2, BC up 5-1 at RPI and Northeastern leading 3-1 in Amherst. Unfortunately, that also applies to HEA teams hosting non-conference foes. Lowell losing to Western 2-0 and BU celebrating Christmas early gifting turnover after turnover to Sparty. 3-1 late in the second. Only home team winning is UConn with a 3-1 lead over Bucky.

Overreaction in my opinion. It's a good early season test to play against Q every year.I think it's time to end the Q series....not because of this weekend....but because Q benefits from this series more than Maine does. I'd rather take the Penn State approach and rack up wins at home against cupcakes knowing that there are plenty of quality wins sitting there in Hockey East. Schedule one premiere series with a Big Ten or NCHC team and call it a day.
I said it has nothing to do with this weekend. Q plays in the ECAC....Maine plays in Hockey East. Who is benefitting from playing the other team?Overreaction in my opinion. It's a good early season test to play against Q every year.
Never good starting out the semester with a failing grade.Overreaction in my opinion. It's a good early season test to play against Q every year.
It’s early and hard to find their cohesion. They had it to start yesterday, but when they changed to the trap after up 3-0 and 4-1 seems the entire weekend was lost. Will take hard work to maintain since a lot of new players.Overreaction in my opinion. It's a good early season test to play against Q every year.
Kind of hard to get an accurate read on a team when you kneecap an already thin lineup with a pair of ejections and undisciplined play.Call me crazy, but I didn't think they were *that* bad in the second half-ish of the game tonight, spent way too much time in the box which limited the capacity to do much but they finally started to have decent possession and get chances in on net at 5v5. Still a rough game and a pretty bad weekend, but I think it will go down as one that helped to show all the young guys what top opponents look like in college and what it takes to win. Im confident they'll figure it out.
