UMaine 25-26: Marques My Word: Back to the Big Time

Last season I was having a heck of a time with the commercials going on in endless loops (gdamn BK commercials that just wouldn't stop) for what seemed like longer than what a timeout break should be to the point where I got suspect, would leave the game and then go back into it and get right into live game action. Not sure if it's still an issue yet this season as it's been limited viewing so far but it didn't seem as bad as it was last season.
Seems to be town fair tire for me or Liberty university lol

Glad ill be at the game 😆

A word of caution - tried this once, my phone went bonkers telling me it wasnt secure and that it tried to pass along a security infection, etc.
Probably wont go there again.
They're all fake pop-ups. Once you get through them, it works flawlessly. Some weeks it's a bit more cumbersome than others. On a streaming device, if you download a web browser app, I haven't gotten any pop ups or errors at all.

Maine better come ready to play. I dont think 'Gate should be overlooked. I seem to recall them having played us tough even at Alfond recently. Should be two more good games.

Sounds like we should anticipate no Nadeau in the lineup this weekend. He's "week-to-week" currently.

Really wouldn't mind seeing Russell get moved up with Poirier/Scott to get him on the scoresheet. He's tied for 2nd with 10 shots but no points so far.

Wonder if we'll see a similar goalie Fri/Sat split like we did against Quinnipiac last weekend.

Colgate played BU tough. The are in the top three of the ECAC right now. This isn’t a cupcake weekend series.

To be fair, my beloved Colgate can be a ‘cupcake’ this season.
See Friday night game at BU.
See Friday night game at home against Canisius.

But, instead of being a ‘cupcake,’ we can also be a ‘hard roll.’ You never know which one you are going to be served.

Lines Tonight:

Poirier-Scott-Russell
Freel-Lipinski-Marques
Fowler-Scholle-Peluso
Gerrior-Komarov-Pichette

Holt-Peterson
Langlois-Motew
Coughlin-Chabrier
Djurasevic

Boija

The Jrs look better, especially Fowler coming alive and his grit and forecheck. Sully starting to look more confident but still not as silky as yr 1. Impressed w Pichette, and Komarov is sick (but I take back predictions from summer when I thought seeing him w Josh and Poirier would be fun; wouldn't be his best use). Lukas Peterson is also a stud. And Djur does not look like the same player as last yr
