I thought Maine actually looked pretty good for the first 2 minutes or so, then was pretty awful for about 5 minutes. The rest of the way they were mediocre. Duluth's defense is stifling, it's honestly impressive to watch.

Good call. IIRC, there were 13 penalties for >100 yards on Maine. This has been an ongoing issue, although a fair number of those calls were BS. Fun team to watch in any case.

BINNER is exceptional puck lugger.... But it lost in his own end. Our third pair can't fight their way out of a wet paper bag. We only have three legit d men. Keeper, Michel, Butala.

Impressed with the discipline of both teams this weekend. Now that’s been said, watch it all go to **** in the 3rd

JSS tips one in from Pearson and its 3-2 now. Maine has looked a lot better.

4:15 to go and still down a goal. They could break through, I might even venture to say Maine has looked the better team in the third. Its been pretty close to even, at least.

Pearson should have scored at the death. Maine looked ragged at times but this was a winnable game. It’s a good sign that Maine made the defending national champions hold on for dear life.

Maybe call me crazy, but here's a hot take: Swayman was a sort of Jekyll and Hyde act this weekend, sometimes making great stops to keep the team in it but also had more than a few soft goals go against him.

Too bad "moral victories" don't count in the PWR.

Some of us have the patience of Job... Me, not so much.

Red's had plenty of time to fashion his own program, and here we are, still: a day late and a dollar short.
