Didn't buy the stream, but a 2-2 tie while getting outshot 13-3 is Christmas in October.

Just like last years series in Orono, Duluth is so disciplined in the neutral zone. Maine is playing better than shots indicate though. Still Duluth is the better team so far.

I agree. Both teams have capitalized on the few breakdowns. I think clearing the net front is key for Maine. Too much traffic in on Swayman. And the dmen have to ceil off the side of the net when their forward get back there.

Their rink looks very nice. Lot of fans there. UMD really has a great program.

They've been a lot better in the second period in my opinion.

Same old on paper so far. This team is better than Red's earlier teams, but not looking ready for prime time.

PP opportunity coming up and not a moment too soon. Struggling to get tempo and the puck through the neutral zone. Big opportunity. Would be nice to see a Great Dane one timer to bring the bears wihtin 1

This is what we have at Maine. And for years now.

However, if via some minor miracle, Maine could split tomorrow, that would be huge in terms of the PW. HEA looks pretty bad again this year, so a quality win would help.

That was the worst period of hockey I've seen Maine play since when Gionta scored 5 goals in 10 minutes on Maine. Swayman looked bad in the second.
