Football is still very much alive. The William and Mary debacle hurt, but if the field was selected today, I'm thinking that Maine is in.

Richmond on the road (Maine's 7th road contest this season) and Elon at home are left... Both winnable games for sure.

Sure is a fun team to watch. Ferocious D, and an explosive O. Harasymiak has this program waaay ahead of any reasonable expectations.

If it weren't for Swayman this game would have been at least 4-0 UML. A very young River Hawk team that is not highly skilled but they know how to play defense. Maine appears to be the same team under Gendron. We will see if they can develop as the season progresses.

Blackie, Red isn't a head coach, he's a natural-born second-banana. It was obvious as early as '93.

This talent on this team is mediocre. They need to beat bad teams every time, take the whuppin' from the few elite teams that exist, and out-compete other mediocre teams, IMO.

Not saying that hockey doesn't have a shot at it, but they'll need to Bear down sometime soon. It's been the SOS for years now.

Then give ways to win, and ways to get better. Lost as usual. Bet you can't.

I cannot believe this team can lose this game tonight. Shame on them. It is as much as to say they have no ounce of working for a free scholarship. Worse is it is as much as to say they have no idea when they put jersey on.

Einstein, it's what I've been saying for years: find somebody who can recruit some real talent... It's as simple as that, in a broad sense.

Doesn't mean I have to be happy if it is all the same to you. I thought this team would be great. Looks like a bag of veegees

I am the most patient person. Even now I feel time for coach change. Time to recruit new coach is now.

Maine screwed up big time by sitting on their *** after firing Whitehead. They should have brought Jimmy in before Denver even fired Gwozdecky.
