And no, Bob, I didn't mean it literally. But this was a different game after the 2nd intermission. UNH outplayed Maine for most of that 3rd period. Hard to coast to wins against good teams.

The OT goal was certainly not his fault and it was a total shooting gallery for the final 2:00+ of the 3rd and he allowed a rebound to Speelman at the wrong time. Ouelette appears to be a pretty good goalie, IMO.

No......he wasn't. UNH was skating circles around Maine at the end.......couldn't even clear the d*mn puck!

Totally agree. Maine did not play poorly and had Grade A chances in the 3rd including 1 or 2 clear breakaways. DiGirolamo deserves credit in the UNH net. He really played well... and none of the Maine goals were cheapies in the slightest.

somewhat of a textbook win for UNH.. through 2 periods its seems like their lack of depth was exposed. then a surprise goal scorer in silengo contributes two big goals and they get the equalizer from speelman - who is really their main scoring threat outside the top line.
