UHN @ Maine (12/10)

  • Thread starter Thread starter Priceless

Maine 3 UNH 1, Period 2

Maine 3 UNH 1, Period 2

Anyone catch if that was a DQ or just a misconduct?

Re: UHN @ Maine (12/10)

Goes in, but no goal.

Under review... it does not go all the way over...

No goal.

So.. the kid has to be critically injured for your guy to get a 5 & game?? Nice.

NO! Just did not think it warranted a 5! I know I have my rose colored glasses on. But saw a lot more hard hits in the game at BU we played that were not 5. You are objective so what did you think?

Re: UHN @ Maine (12/10)

I'd have to see it again. I thought it was kind of borderline between 2 and 5. Obvious, obvious penalty.

Might have looked worse if someone a little bigger than Anthoine had made the hit.

Either way, not smart to put your team in that position. Anthoine has to play with a little more awareness than that.

Review, where was the whistle....more importantly where was the intent to blow the whistle

Re: UHN @ Maine (12/10)

Shouldn't be a goal.

The penalty was a good call.

I did not think it was a 5 and game... but still... regardless of whether the kid is hurt or not, it is the play itself that should be judged--- not the end result.

Certainly a penalty, but I would have given a 2 more than likely.
