UCONN Hockey 2012-13: Hockey East Here We Come

Re: UCONN Hockey 2012-13: Hockey East Here We Come

I completely disagree with comparing PP to Cav.
No one made that comparison. The topic had changed. Try reading a little more carefully before your second post.

I had them Gwozdecky, Berard, Cavanaugh with Gwoz in 1st by a mile. I liked the job Berard did last year, Saw a spark and a level of commitment that I haven't seen in UConn hockey in a long while. Cav was a assistant and those are the toughest to judge in my mind which is why I ranked him 3rd. But he's the guy now so I'm behind him and I hope he turns out to be better than his mentor.

Nice article on Cav on the USCHO home page today. I like that he has established winning the AHA before UConn leaves as the immediate goal. It will be a challenge, but it is an achievable goal and one that the fans surely want. Important to get the vision thing right out there. Win the AHA first, and then when UConn gets to HE, there will be time to worry about that. Love it.

UConn just added Mike Sousa to the coaching staff. Came from Brown and played at UNH. Don't know much about him.
