UCONN Hockey 2012-13: Hockey East Here We Come

Re: UCONN Hockey 2012-13: Hockey East Here We Come

The UConn goalie is really good. Without him, the game is nowhere near that close.

I was surprised by the amount of extra curricular activities after the whistle, seemingly from the beginning of the game. Unless someone's a red shirt senior, no one on either roster is left from the last time these two played. I have no idea where all the bad blood came from.

I was thinking the same thing.

I made the trip to Amherst and as a UConn fan let me just say it was an eye opener and that the Mullins Center is a beautiful facility.

I thought the same thing about going to the UMass-UConn football game in August.

Not expecting much from the season unless Bartus stands on his head again.. I'm a diehard Uconn fan living in the state but I can't pay for the all access package and last year, I listened to Air Force game in the Atlantic hockey tourny.. Frankly, it was embarrassing to broadcasting integrity.

So, until Uconn hockey gets on TV here, I'll keep one eye on them and the other on Northeastern

Looks like Marshall is starting to upgrade.
It does indeed. And a lot of underclassmen on the team this year makes one think that somehow UConn managed a head start and might have trouble staying under the AHA cap next year.

Lowell played UConn twice last year, and without Bartus, the River Hawks would have walked away easily in both. He's a really good goalie.

Reports of the Huskies' demise with the departure of Cole Schneider have been greatly exaggerated. I am proud of the way UConn played this weekend. Soon enough a single "point" on the weekend will be by no means good enough. But the Huskies are making big strides and will be a force to be reckoned with soon.
