There’s Big Spring Park right there and the main downtown area is a 10 minite walk away. The 3 brewpub area is a mile away and the shuttle drivers for both hotels are terrific.

* Max McHugh was expected to skate this week. Huzzah!
* Jordan Larson did get a concussion on Saturday.
* The team got pretty banged up from the trip, particularly forwards. Very good thing that it's a bye week.
* Corbett is in the D-I committee, which has talks about OT standardization across conferences. He doesn't expect any change, though.

I met several people on Saturday at the bar next to Agannis. I was with my daughter. I remember meeting the Hansons and Fredericks. Great weekend!

So sorry to hear that Larson got a concussion. Don't ever like to see that happen. I watched Corbs say a few choice words to Thomas after the game. Thomas just shook his head and walked away. Would love to know what was said.

Corbs told me he was happy for Matt and that the Seawolves played really hard for him, so there doesn't seem to be any lingering animosity.

I tried to watch your game tonight but the feed kept stopping, every 3 or 4 minutes. I 'm very patient but I finally gave up.

It was fine the first two periods, but I kept needing to refresh every few minutes in the third. I asked the press box if the VBC internet was acting up, but they suspect it was on Stretch's end. I had a couple of freezes on the Ferris State game before ours, but I don't know.

I had Schultzie and the Beaver Radio Network on for sound, so I could just continue with that after shutting WCHA.tv off.
May just listen to Schultzie tonight, it will depend on if the family wants to watch or not.

We did lose a D-man in Eichstadt later on though. That probably hurts the Beavers more than UAH losing Saulnier.

The ceremony for the '98 D-II champions was nice, but why did we dress them up in the alternate gray uniforms that this year's team doesn't wear anymore? We couldn't get them '98 throwbacks like we did for the '96 team two years ago?

Last night's game was a bummer.
On a different note, I don't think we've talked enough about how good of a year Tyler Poulsen is having. I feel like he's been consistently driving offense all year long. I hope he's still got a full year of eligibility left for next season so we won't be dealing with another Brandon Carlson-esque mid-year departure. We're going to need him.

This is true...he's tripled his point total from last season. Good question about his eligibilty. Didn't he have to sit out 2014-15 already?
