UAA was already short handed coming into this series, and have lost 3 players to injuries so far against CC. The losses are going to be felt more and more as the game goes on.

CC elbows Leinweber, so UAA goes on a power play with around 3 1/2 minutes left

UAA gets three back to back shots on Thornburg but they are all stopped

Dang, a heartbreaker for UAA. CC wins 4-3. But since they were so short handed, I am proud of how they played.

Interesting weekend in the WCHA so far, only Wisconsin managed not to get at least 2 points. I suppose it says a lot about the quality of the league.
