I see why Shasby left. What a brutal schedule for a turnaround.

Fairbanks has 6 series currently scheduled, and they are all away. I like Erik Largen but scheduling home games is his kryptonite.

I mean this was part of his selling point, a tough schedule across the country. Don't know why, a cupcake schedule with wins and they could've competed with the Wolverines for attendance at the Sully. Winning and we could sell away teams and the community on playing in the Sully. Winning would help donors and fans fork over more money. Winning makes UAA more attractive to potential conference mates. Win or lose we are getting gutted by the transfer portal. Losing, minimal admin support, and the travel appears to the current and past sinker of us joining a conference. And our new head coach is quoted with saying, wins and losses don't matter.

BOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

To quote Jimmy, UAA is making me crazier.

With the confirmed games + 6 speculative against UAF, that brings the total to an even 30. No word on the Wisconsin games yet. Probably throw in a series against Stonehill as well.

UAA receives a late commitment from Jalen Bianchet. He had 87 points in 53 games this year with Whitecourt (AJHL). He is also the captain of the team

He will join the incoming freshmen class this year.

Two additional freshmen to watch are:
Samuel Boisvert (49 pts in 46 games)
Matthew Martin-Gaudreault (66pts in 58 games)

Interesting and solid pickup, curious why he took soo late to commit somewhere.

UAA receives a commitment from defensemen Cooper Anderson. He had 50 pts in 58 games on Aberdeen (NAHL) this year. He will start this season.

Additionally, Greg Orosz transfers to the University of New Brunswick (USports)

After looking at the current roster, Bryant Marks is currently the only goalie... and he stinks. Last year he played 5 games and had a 4.53% GAA. Small sample size, but I think it paints a good picture at his readiness for division 1 hockey.

Bryant has a good start two seasons ago, I still don't think he's ready but were gonna find out. Hoping we snag Lassi from Sqaurebanks.
