Re: TV: There She Is, The Old Radiation King

So is Walking Dead pretty much done? I'm so bored by it now. Just couldn't get into the last couple of episodes. At least this last one didn't do the time jumping around like it did a few weeks ago.

Bought the Justified series last Thu, started watching it again. Forgot how much Ava grew as a character. Boyd obviously grew, and for the most part, Raylan never grew. He was just the catalyst for these other characters. The mainstay. Love this series.

I dont care what others say...Star Trek: Discovery is enjoyable as heck :)

Re: TV: There She Is, The Old Radiation King

I want to watch it, but I'm not paying CBS for the opportunity.

Eh I will pay for a month and watch it and be done. It is no dumber than paying for Netflix which has maybe 1 or 2 things I watch.

I liken it to when people buy the Comcast Sports package to watch hockey games for a few months then drop it.

Watching the 50th Anniversary Carol Burnett special. Dying of laughter with all the old clips. I loved that show. I remember watching every Saturday night growing up.

Re: TV: There She Is, The Old Radiation King

Just finished the 4th disc of S1 of The Wire. You know it's a good series when you feel for the characters. Kima and Bubbles...man. I'm rooting for 'em.

Curb Your Enthusiasm ended it's season with a bang. And if you like comedy, Michelle Wolf's (From the Daily Show) comedy special on HBO was fantastic.

Dammit! I forgot that was on last night.

Best time I've had at a theater was seeing Vikki Lawrence. It was 45 minutes of her material, 45 minutes of Mama. And no one could believe the hour and a half went by so fast.

Re: TV: There She Is, The Old Radiation King

Saw the pilot of Godless. Two things in equal measure: it's terrible and I enjoyed it.

It has to be the worst-acted show on TV. Granted, I don't watch much bottom feeder TV but I do have a few guilty pleasures (I'm looking at you, Crazy Ex-Girlfriend) and this blows them all away for wooden delivery, stilted dialog, "who was she/he sleeping with to get this part?" casting, hackneyed plot, and middle school theater class development. There were moments (sidewinder v baby) where I'd swear they are making fun of the audience.

So far, at least, it's so bad it's good.

I will keep saying it until you people are sick of hearing it. Best show ever to be on television.

And a lot of people couldn't get into the show cause the season one pacing was so slow. It's all setup until what was it, episode 10(?), and then, boy, does that escalate quickly.

Me, I was hooked from the opening image of the opening scene. And it just gets better from there. That's some quality writing, right there.

Dear lord. Stranger Things S2 still takes place before I was born.

Re: TV: There She Is, The Old Radiation King

I have never been as uncomfortable watching a tv show as I am watching Shameless.
