TV: There She Is, The Old Radiation King

Re: TV: There She Is, The Old Radiation King

There is no situation on this show -- there is in fact no character on this show -- which would not be materially improved by a shooting spree.

That did make Greys Anatomy much better for a few seasons.

Re: TV: There She Is, The Old Radiation King

Has anyone watched Mosaic on HBO? Never heard of it before today and from what I've read it sounds intriguing.

I watched it and loved it.

It's a little hard to follow, in the first couple of episodes, because of the way it is shown. It shows the same events, sometimes from a different character's perspective, and there are lots of jumps in time that aren't fully explained until later, but I fully endorse this show.

My suggestion would be to just binge it in one day.

Sadly they never tried it on Here Comes Honey Boo Boo.

Speaking of, she must be around 10 by now, right? Alabama breeding age? Bet she's a looker. Maybe pair her up with Josh Dugger, or Roy Moore.

Dr. Mrs. is a good luck charm so the deal is while I stream the games I put on headphones and she sits in the same room and watches TV. She is binge watching S2 of This Is Us.

Good f-cking Christ.

This Is Dreck. What if Thirty Something were even more sniveling and predatorily manipulative?

Please tell me teens aren't watching this show as a guide to what adult human beings are / should be like. The last time that happened we got an entire generation DQed from holding a job due to vocal fry.

After seeing so many ads for that show, I can't imagine ever watching it. I'm sure there's worse shows out there, but I can't imagine there are too many.

The iron law of marketing: advertising budget is inversely proportional to quality. Works for beer, books, movies, food, universities, politicians, cars, everything.

The Alienist?

To be honest they're two episodes in as am I and it's not tripping my trigger.

She'd have to fight Mama June for that. Mama June lost 300lbs!!!1!!1! And is now a stunner. Apparently.

I'm sorry, but what is a Mama June?

Edit: Ah.

In all honesty, if that is not camera tricks, then bravo. Beyond the obvious health benefit, yes, in fact I would say that is not in any way a bad thing.

But I have to think her skin must fit her about as tight as a rhinoceros.

The funny thing is, after your post yesterday afternoon I couldn't resist. I figured I'd Google Honey Boo Boo, just because. What's funny is that as soon as you type "Honey Bo", the second item that pops up for Google is "Honey Boo Boo Now." Apparently you were not alone in your musings. :p

As long as the third item isn't "Honey Boo Boo topless."

I was intrigued by the first episode, enough to watch episode 2. Hoping it hooks me, because I like the premise. Haven't watched episode 2 yet.

Re: TV: There She Is, The Old Radiation King

Got a new UHD TV a few days ago. Our old one was having issues with the sound not working, even with the sound bar connected, and it mysteriously had a crack the shape of a remote across the front of it after the NFC championship game.

Then signed up for the Netflix UHD option. First thing we started watching was Planet Earth 2, and it is absolutely stunning. Not sure what else is out there actually in UHD, but Planet Earth 2 sure looks good.

I just got a new sony 4K, decided to avoid oled until it’s been around longer.
I love planet earth and am so excited to watch it on the new tv

Re: TV: There She Is, The Old Radiation King

I finally got ChromeCast to work for YouTube but I can't seem to make it work for ILDN. Even if the site is not cast enabled I ought to be able to just cast the entire tab, but so far I have been unable to sweet talk my PC into communicating via my WiFi with the ChromeCast device wired to my TV. I have two more days to experiment before hockey, though, so I'm not too worried.

Re: TV: There She Is, The Old Radiation King

So since I now dont have a day job I have been binge watching shows...quite fun :)

The Good Place...I didnt like Season 1 until the end but Season 2 has been brilliant. The only character I cant stand is Jason...I wish he would die.

Crazy Ex GF...good lord Season 2 was awesome (the Bar Mitzvah episode was GOLD! And when the new guy shows up and they do the meta song about new characters cause of falling ratings...epic!) and I just started season 3 and am loving it. Such a fun show :)

Also watched half of Season 2 of Billions...it just never stops being awesome. Outside of Damian Lewis' awful American accent...that is right up there with Gerard Butler in the "I have to contort my mouth sideways to pretend to speak American"category of terrible.

Harden your heart. Bad episodes are coming. You're about to get so many steaming helpings of Paula and Scott that you'll lose your appetite.

It’s not as good this year, but I still enjoy some.

Agree on Jason from the good place. I think Janet is my favorite
